TIPHAINE COGEZ COUSSEAU
FOUNDER OF BRUME ORPIN
Tiphaine Cogez Cousseau embodies a modern vision of High Perfumery, combining unparalleled expertise with a strong ecological consciousness. Passionate about fragrance from an early age, she has cultivated a true olfactory library, the result of decades of curiosity and exploration. Her career began behind the scenes at Rochas and Balmain, where she honed her skills in fragrance development. However, it was alongside Francis Kurkdjian that she took charge of the global marketing for his eponymous brand starting in 2008,
cementing her position as a key figure in the industry. Years of collaboration with the Artistic Director at the House of Hermès further refined her eye for detail and her sense of precision, qualities she carried from the great Fashion Houses.
In 2024, after four years of research and innovation, she launched BRUME ORPIN, a Maison of Haute Perfumery committed to a forward-thinking luxury. Every perfume, every bottle, and every detail are crafted with unwavering rigor, balancing luxury with ecological consciousness, all while maintaining uncompromising standards. Collaborating with the finest French artisans and manufacturers, BRUME ORPIN is revolutionizing the industry by offering a healthier, more responsible alternative, without sacrificing the pursuit of beauty and excellence. In a world where luxury must be both demanding and ethical, Tiphaine Cogez Cousseau, with her radical vision and pioneering approach, has become an essential reference, restoring the nobility of perfumery through understated yet sophisticated luxury driven by common sense.
Know-how
Tiphaine Cogez Cousseau is first and foremost a perfume creator, but her craft goes far beyond the simple composition of a fragrance. For her, creating a perfume is a holistic process—an intricate orchestration that spans from the selection of ingredients to the design of the raw materials that make up the fragrance, as well as the careful consideration of every detail in its universe. Each step, every component, from the bottle to the packaging, is meticulously chosen to embody a precise, balanced, and coherent vision. It is this all-
encompassing approach that makes BRUME ORPIN not only a House of Haute Perfumery but a true House of Creation, where authenticity and rigor are at the heart of every project.
